I brought a right angled hdmi lead to run round my room, but it's angled the wrong way to even fit in the top, and would stick up from the laptop rather than down! Time to modify

Fire exit!

Got into work today to see this, that is a scaffolding tower to sort out a blown bulb. It's been up for 3days and is right in front of a fire exit..... Well placed! When I informed the store manager got asked if I wanted the bulb fixed or the fire exit. I thought that one would have been very obvious! It's not like it could have been put away while they try to source the bulb or anything.... Maplin fail.

Dremel workstation

Anna brought me a Dremel workstation for christmas, I mounted it on a piece of wood to stop the metal base from scratching my desks. I didn't have any washers the right size, so I was left with no choice but to improvise. Hence the coke bottle lids! Anyway back to the stand. It works as a pillar drill or rotates as shown here so it can be used for sanding or cutting. It's awesome!

Day 7

Tbh I'm surprised I've managed to keep this up! Today's photo is my diy desk, got a signal generator, oscilloscope, and homemade psu. In the background you can see my component drawers, and tool chest :) with the stuff here, which doesn't include my plexiglass, wood and random stuff stores

We decided at 1am we needed pizza and she decided to put her hoodie on backwards..... Spoon!

Healthy lunch at work!

Yup stuck again at work for the weekend, and boring day with far too many refunds! First lunch break and can't be bothered to eat healthily, so energy drink and waffles!

Next stage

Seems I need to buy some paint, so not been able to finish :( maybe tomorrow

Mystery project

Today aside from project work I've been working on my mystery project, hopefully should be able to get it finished tomorrow and I'll post a picture of it, I think it's gonna be awesome. :)

I know it's late

I know this is late but I've been busy with "how I met your mother " and working on the next stage of my project. :) this is the oscillator and amplifier :) and the best part is, it works!

I've managed to forget to do it for the first few days, but I'm going to crack on with it. I can't promise they will always be great, or be interesting, but I will try to get something interesting every now again!
